Max & Moritz Restaurant opened in 1996. Since then Chef Klaus Lapine and co-owner wife Karin have been running their small family owned neighborhood restaurant specializing in German and other Central European dishes.

They offer simple authentic ethnic comfort food at reasonable prices in a calm and relaxed setting. The emphasis from the beginning has been on freshness, quality and consistency in preparation and presentation which has earned them a loyal and growing clientele over the years. The eclectic menu features specialties like Wiener Schnitzel, Sauerbraten, pasta, and seafood dishes.

With the addition of a decorative wine display case Max & Moritz German Restaurant recently extended their wine selection.

Beside their many German Rieslings from different regions you can also find other varietals like Silvaner, Kerner and Müller-Thurgau as well as quite a selection of German red wines.

Whatever you choose will pair wonderfully with the authentic Central European cuisine offered at the restaurant. You may consider a little wine tasting at home since all wines are available for retail purchase also.
